Client Spotlight – Atlantic Workboats Ltd

The South West is home to such a diverse range of businesses, and we’re proud to collaborate with so many great people across our region. That’s why we’ve launched our new Client Spotlight video series, to share their stories and recognise their awesome achievements.

Our first client in the spotlight is Chris Northmore, engineer and designer at Atlantic Workboats Ltd (AWL) in Devon. Chris had always wanted to create a cutting edge, high-spec general purpose commercial boat. The boat is called Sakana and she was launched by AWL earlier this year. Sakana is the first boat of its kind featuring the latest Furuno technology and will be used by FURUNO UK Ltd and SM GROUP Europe Ltd as an ambassador boat showcasing the electronic equipment. AWL is planning to market the boat to various government and commercial agencies. We had the pleasure of joining Chris on this amazing boat where he shared his story of bringing his vision to life, and how Westcotts have helped him along the way.
