Two promoted to partner at Westcotts Plymouth office

Westcotts is delighted to announce that Sean Bolter and Matthew Keane have been promoted from Director to Partner in the Plymouth office.

Sean Bolter has worked in the Westcotts Plymouth office for nine years, starting in corporate tax before working his way up to his recent promotion to Partner. He oversees a varied portfolio of clients from personal tax clients, small owner managed businesses to larger corporate groups. Sean’s experience as an owner managed business director has helped him forge strong and trusted relationships with clients, many of whom rely on his outstanding technical taxation and accounting knowledge to make prudent strategic and operational decisions.

Sean said: “I’m really pleased to have achieved a promotion to Partner in recognition of the tremendous effort and investment I have made into my clients and my own learning and development. I’m keen to continue to provide exceptional service to my clients, many of which I have supported for almost a decade, and I look forward to supporting them for the next decade.”

Matt Keane joined the firm more than a decade ago as an apprentice and since then has built a wealth of experience during his twelve years at Westcotts. Matt has supported a variety of clients, specialising in SME’s / owner-managed businesses, providing business advice, taxation support and best digital practices. Matt also has a specialism in charities and not-for-profit organisations. In his spare time, Matt volunteers as a Trustee for Devon Mind, a charity which runs support services and raises awareness of mental health in Devon.

Matt said: “I’ve been offered some great opportunities during my time at the firm and have supported clients across the range of services we offer. Building genuine relationships to better understand my clients’ businesses, their future expectations and plans has always been a priority for me. I’ve now grown into a role specialising in supporting SMEs in the city and charities. I’m excited to grow into this new role, continuing to build my knowledge and experience as well as support clients.”
