Following a merger with Butterworth Jones in 2015, Westcotts’ offices can be found on Castle Street, Bridgwater. Accountancy services have been provided at this location since the 1940s. Originally owned by the Duke of Chandos, the Grade I listed building dates back to 1723 and sits on grounds once part of the original Bridgwater Castle.
Westcotts offer a general accountancy practice, as well as a wealth of expertise and range of specialisms, including extensive tax knowledge.
We look after personal tax clients, small sole traders, partnerships, and corporate clients. We also act for many trusts and have in-house knowledge of estate planning and probate work.
Bridgwater is a growing historic market town on the edge of the Somerset Levels and has a population of around 41,000. Westcotts is at the heart of the local community and acts as accountants for the world-famous Guy Fawkes Carnival attracting thousands of people from all over the UK and Europe each November to watch the procession.
