The Westcotts team, led by Mandy French (Partner at Westcotts) have been providing accountancy support to the Forest Glade Holiday Park family business for over five years. Forest Glade Holiday Park is situated between Cullompton and Honiton, in a forest clearing on the Blackdown Hills which is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The park has been family run for over 40 years and offers some of the best caravan and camping holidays in Devon, with a variety of accommodation options such as holiday caravans and camping pods. It’s a family friendly site, which offers a peaceful getaway where nature can be enjoyed.

When the Government published new guidance on digitising business accounts, called Making Tax Digital, in 2020, the Forest Glade Team knew where to turn. Mandy and her team were on hand to guide them through the process, and their expertise meant that the transition from paper accounting to online processes was smooth and efficient.

The team were introduced to an online accountancy tool which brings together all of your invoicing, cash flow and transaction data into one place. This enabled the Forest Glade team to simplify their accounts and process, and now means that Westcotts can access the data at each year end and when the team are in need of advice and guidance.
