New Partner appointed at Westcotts brings decades of experience

We are delighted to announce that Heather Davis, Director at the Weston-super-Mare office, has been promoted to Partner.

Heather Davis is currently a Director at Westcotts with a general practice portfolio and oversees the firm’s payroll team. Heather started as a trainee and has worked her way up to director level, regularly advising clients throughout their business lifecycle from start-up, day-to-day running, compliance, specialist tax and accounts queries to closure or succession. She has over 20 years’ experience and specialises in construction, retail, automotive and manufacturing. She is also actively involved with Weston-super-Mare Chamber of Commerce, local networking groups and supporting local businesses.

“I enjoy helping people so I get a huge sense of satisfaction taking the worry of dealing with accounts and tax away from clients. I’m lucky that I’m part of a strong team of experts who support each other giving clients strong, sound advice,” said Heather.

This promotion recognises these decades of experience, dedication to the growth of Westcotts and support given to team development.

Heather said: “I’ve worked in our Weston office for over twelve years so feel very proud to be promoted to a position where I can support our staff and ensure we continue to give our clients the high value service they expect and deserve.

“Being made a partner in a firm such as Westcotts is a huge achievement for me both personally and professionally. My little boy has ASD and a language disorder so life outside of work can be challenging but we enjoy lots of trips together as well as spending time renovating our Victorian home, and with our two Staffordshire Bull Terriers. It’s testament to the support of Westcotts and particularly the partners I work closely with that I have made partner while facing difficulties at home.”
