We are currently looking for a Corporate Senior to join us on a permanent full-time basis in our Plymouth office. You will be responsible for working within our Corporate team. This teams serves some of our largest clients, as well as some of those who expect the most regular contact with us; so if you would like to balance a mix of audit work, with other advisory and business improvement services, where in all areas of work you will be able to see the tangible benefits you bring, then we would like to talk to you. This role will likely suit a part qualified or qualified professional, with audit experience, who is looking for a more varied role and to develop their career further across the Southwest of England
Main Duties
The main duties (but not limited to) are the following:
- Planning, managing, controlling, and conducting the audit fieldwork for a portfolio of the firm’s clients under the direction of the Corporate Partners, Directors and Managers
- Preparing financial statements, forecasts and scenario plans
- Assisting with the delivery of digital services – including cloud and app migration
- Building and maintaining client relationships
- Understanding technical matters and presenting them in a logical and practical way
- Managing and developing junior members of the team
- Carrying out technical research and providing advice for clients and for other members of the firm
- Assisting the Corporate Partners in developing the department, together with proposals for new work
- Networking with the business communities in which our offices and clients are based
- Working on clients across the region, as and when required

Ideally candidates will have the following attributes, skills, experience and qualifications: –

- Evaluative, professional, and team orientated in approach
- ACA or ACCA part qualified or qualified with a good level of experience of working within an audit and assurance team
- Good level of knowledge of UK Financial Reporting Standards and International Auditing Standards
- Able to develop and operate complex spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel and be competent in Word and Outlook
- Experience of Caseware audit software would be an advantage
- Working knowledge of Sage Accounts software would be an advantage
