Westcotts ranked in Sunday Times’ Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers for third year in a row

Westcotts, a leading South West firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers, has been ranked in the Sunday Times’ Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers 2025 – the third year in a row they have appeared in the prestigious list.

This year saw Westcotts judged for the first time against all sizes of employers across the UK rather than just SMEs in England, marking a significant achievement for the firm which landed in 77^th place.

The criteria looked at company commitment to the creation of new apprenticeships, the diversity of apprentices and the proportion of apprentices who successfully complete their apprenticeships.

There are currently 41 team members undergoing an apprenticeship at the firm with a further 11 due to start in the next three months. Every apprentice is given a dedicated line manager to offer support and guidance throughout their training with regular opportunities to feedback, review and receive further mentoring.

Past apprentices have worked their way up to Manager, Senior and Partner roles within the firm. And with strong links to schools, colleges and universities around the region, Westcotts is also a member of the South West Apprenticeship Ambassador Network (SWAAN), showing a commitment to offering and promoting apprenticeships in the region.
