Westcotts shortlisted for UK Employer of the Year at Investors in People Awards 2025

Westcotts, a leading South West firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers, has been named a finalist for UK Employer of the Year in the Investors in People (IIP) Awards 2025.

The shortlisting in the Gold: 250+ Employees category follows Westcotts’ achievement of Gold accreditation from Investors in People in September 2024, when the firm won praise from assessors as “one of the most enjoyable and positive assessments they have done in their long career”.

The latest recognition highlights Westcotts’ continued excellence in people development and workplace culture and the ongoing progress of its People Leadership, Communication and Involvement initiatives over the past year.

Among the standout features that helped the firm reach the national shortlist are its Kudos “Thank You” scheme (encouraging peer-to-peer recognition across the business), increased investment and resource in learning and development and its employee communication and performance review processes.

These initiatives have contributed to consistently high staff engagement scores in internal staff surveys and a reduction in annual employee turnover to just 12%.
